My mom has been in the holiday mood and this past weekend we put up our Christmas tree, we usually don't do it so early but she wanted to get it out've the way. I love Christmas time and didn't really mind putting up our nearly 10ft tall tree lol, here are some pictures I snapped!

Changing Roles.

Just A Few Things I Would Like To Say...

In today's culture it seems like it can be so easy to make a name for yourself, everybodies got a blog, a site, doing music, putting themselves out there and with my blog I don't really think of it as my way to enter that culture. Honestly my blog is just for me to share the shit I like, talk about w/e I want and be able to share a little insight of my life with people who feel the same as I do. I don't see myself making this blog into anything mainstream or huge but just a little online diary for people to see my views,thoughts, whatever. This isn't a blog just about fashion, music, "cool shit" that just came out, but the things that I'm interested in, and what I like that life and the entire industry has to offer. I don't give a shit about celebrities and I don't want my blog to be another Hypebeast, Nitrolicious, TMZ, or anything that just reports on whats hot and gossip, but something with more substance and personal. So if that's what you're looking for continue to follow me, and if not excuse me if I lead you on.

Visit to VCU: School of the Arts.

Last weekend I visited my prospective college Virginia Commonwealth University. When I first moved to VA I was dead set on leaving back to NY as soon as I received my High School diploma, but after my 2 years of living here I've realized it really isn't that bad. After the tour on Saturday I fell in absolute love with the school. When on campus you don't feel like you're in Virginia anymore and it really reminds me of home (NYC). The people,  the location, it's the best of both worlds for me. My mom calls it the NYU of VA b/c it's spread out all over downtown Richmond as NYU is spread out all over Manhattan, the big difference is, VCU is a less than a quarter of the price NYU is. Recently I really sat down and tried to figure where I wanted my life path to take me, I couldn't see myself  studying in law, although I've wanted most of my life & being in school for another 8 years, putting on a suit everyday, and having loads of cases & precedents to memorize. I love fashion, photography, writing, business and I figured, what could I do w/ my life to incorporate all of these things. That's when I came across VCU School of the Arts (4th best art school in the country) and there Fashion Merchandising major. I would love to be able to sketch and design clothes, but I just don't have the patience or the talent for that. So I'd rather be on the more business side of things, the woman behind the magic. My application is in, and I'm just praying that I get into this school!

Wanting: Studded Leather Jacket.

After seeing many people sport the Stella McCartney Studded Leather jacket I realized I needed one in my life, although this could be a DIY project for me I really just don't feel like taking the time to do it. I love the classic leather jacket look and everybody knows my need to stud everything out so I'll be picking up this jacket from Nasty Gal Vintage sometime this week ;)

Update.

So I've completely neglected my blog for the last two weeks or so and this is somewhat intentional. I have wanted to blog and have loads of pictures I could post but honestly I haven't been in the mood to edit them or sit here and talk about what I've been doing. My usual issue with committing to a blog is rearing its head again lol but I promise I'll get back on track soon. A lot of great things have been happening in my life lately, and I'm surrounded by some amazing people. Excuse me for taking the time out to enjoy it! lol.
